A Teach India volunteer becomes part of 4,000+ learned volunteer community that comprises of students and professionals (both working and retired) coming from leading colleges and corporates. |
A volunteer transforms the lives of around 20 underprivileged youth by helping them getting better jobs through skill training. |
Volunteer needs to commit for 7 days of compulsory training which will equip them to deliver language skills to the underprivileged youth.
Volunteer needs to teach Spoken English to 15-20 underprivileged youth in a NGO classroom.
Volunteer Journey
The volunteers go through a selective procedure before being placed; an orderly process is executed to hand pick the suitable candidates.

There are two rounds of telephonic interview:
Round 1: After registering successfully, the candidates attend a telephonic interview and if he/she passes, the second round of interview will be held.
After clearing both the rounds, candidate attends an orientation to get themselves familiar with framework of project and receive final confirmation.
For the finally shortlisted candidates, an 8 days training is conducted by British Council trained trainer.
Volunteers are allocated NGO based on the choices made in application form and as per the availability.
Volunteers attend two refresher training of one day each throughout the programme. Also, they are a part of job fair.
